Fullerton College Political Science Department Scholarship

The student must be a declared Political Science major and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.  The recipient will be determined by the Political Science Department.

Applications are available in January.  Deadline is April of each year.

Applications are available January - March of each year.  Deadline is the first week of March.
Scholarships are available for continuing students as well as graduating students.

When searching for scholarships, be aware of scholarships scams.  A good rule, if you have to pay money to get money, it's probably a scam.

2006 Budweiser Conservation Scholarship Program
Award: up to $10,000
Eligibility

United States citizen at least 21 years of age and environmental science, natural resource management, biology, public policy, geography, political science or related disciplines.

Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada

Application Deadline: Scholarship deadline has expired. See website for more details.

Award Amount: $5,000

  • Study in public administration, (governmental) accounting, finance, political science, economics or business administration (with a specific focus on government or nonprofit management)

Local Scholarships

The Datatel Scholars Foundation
(DSF), an independent tax-exempt foundation, awards scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students attending eligible Datatel client institutions.

Leon Owens Foundation
Any student who has lived or attended school in Orange County may apply for a scholarship.  Must have a GPA of 2.5 or above.

  • Must have a minimum GPA of a 3.0
  • Must demonstrate financial need

    The Sallie Mae Fund "First in My Family" Scholarship Program is dedicated to assisting students who are the first person in their family to attend college.
